Hi, I’m Mary Flynn.
I run AI Online Classroom from Mundelein, Illinois. My work sits at the intersection of practical AI and good teaching: clear explanations, realistic examples, and simple guardrails.

My approach
AI can be genuinely useful—but only when people understand what it’s doing, what it’s not doing, and how to verify the work. I teach AI in a way that feels calm and concrete:
- Start with clarity. Plain language, shared vocabulary, and a few solid mental models.
- Practice on real tasks. The kind your team already does: drafting, planning, summarizing, analysis, and communication.
- Build guardrails early. “What not to paste,” how to anonymize examples, and how to review outputs responsibly.
- Make it repeatable. Prompt patterns, checklists, and templates so your team can keep going without me.
I’m not here to sell fear—or fantasy. I’m here to help you build capability with a transparent process.
