Using Mobile Phone Data for Developing Econometric Models of Travel Behaviour – Charisma Choudhury
The goal is to produce a position paper, co-authored by active contributors and this will also be an opportunity to explore partnering for a possible future funding bid. Bruce Jackson (Data & Infrastructure Senior Policy Manager ESRC) will attend, giving an overview of the landscape from the ESRC perspective by way of introduction. Alongside this, confirmed speakers include leading academics from the following universities: Exeter, Aberdeen, Warwick, UWE, Loughborough, UCL, Greenwich, Glasgow and Leeds.
This event is organised by the Alan Turing Institute funded project, KARMA. There is some limited funding to help with travel and overnight accommodation if needed. Funds will be prioritised according to the type of data colleagues are working with and so that a variety of new data can be discussed in the meeting.
