On August 18, 2023 the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) and Women In AI joined forces to address the lack of women in investment and decision making, and the limited pool of women-led startups. As the Chief Ethics & Culture Officer from Women In AI, a global non-profit organization, I highlighted the need for public policies to revamp the investor ecosystem and promote more women. I also discussed the need for an expanded network of gender-conscious investors and bonds, and more targeted technical and financial support for women-led startups.
