Artificial Intelligence has emerged as an extremely attractive set of tools to solve many healthcare problems. However, the path towards their adoption for routine care is still full of barriers and uncertainties. In this workshop we will discuss about the existing need to validate AI algorithms, the barriers to do so, and some ways researchers are addressing this gap.

Speaker: Dr Daniel Capurro, Senior Lecturer in Digital Health in the School of Computing and Information Systems and Deputy Director of the Centre for the Digital Transformation of Health, both at the University of Melbourne.
