Dr. Simon Thompson is interested in the application of interaction between humans, communities of humans and artificially intelligent systems. In the past he has led projects that have exploited this kind of system to drive down customer contact costs and to deliver novel and engaging customer experiences. In particular he is interested in visual and linguistic inferences and interactions including diagrams and dialogs.
