Alexandr Wang is the founder and CEO of Scale AI. He founded Scale while at MIT at the age of 19 to help customers build long-term AI strategies. Prior to enrolling at MIT, Wang worked at Quora and Addepar, where he noticed the inefficiencies involved in developing AI infrastructure. He recognized that he could accelerate companies’ abilities to deploy AI by combining a machine learning-powered data labeling system with human insight to ensure that models are trained on high-quality, trusted datasets. Under Wang’s leadership, Scale has grown to a $7 billion valuation and serves hundreds of customers across many industries, from finance to e-commerce to U.S. government agencies.

This appearance by Alexandr Wang is part of the Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders series. Join us virtually as we bring founders, investors and industry influencers to center stage and invite them to share what it takes to become a disruptor.
