Abstract:
There is a big promise to healthcare in going to the cloud: more compute capacity and elasticity, less operational overhead and increased productivity. The journey to the cloud, however, is still a bit rare in this regulated space where organizations must comply with HIPAA and PHI data protections. This presentation will outline a how-to when deciding on such a cloud journey for a data organization and will attempt to show a few areas to be mindful of when designing a cloud data strategy.
