Abstract:
Predicting patient mortality and readmission is a much-discussed topic in healthcare analytics. What receives much less attention is the integration of developed models into operational workflows with subsequent adjustments as more operational data becomes available. This presentation illustrates operational decision-making influence on the structure and the implementation of the model. From this presentation, the audience will learn how to advance to prescriptive analytics for predicting patient mortality and readmissions; integrate developed models into operational workflows and analyze their efficiency; and calibrate the implemented framework for optimal performance based on real-time data.
